Norm graduated from Seattle University School of Law in May 2007. After interning for Judge McDermott in King County Superior Court, Norm was a Rule 9 intern at Stein, Lotzkar & Starr. Upon passing the Washington State Bar in July of 2007, Norm joined Stein, Lotzkar & Starr as an Associate Attorney. The Public Defense work is most satisfying as the need to provide access to attorneys is very important to Norm. Norm's primary interest is criminal defense, and he enjoys working on driving related issues.

Norm is also a professional firefighter and emergency medical technician. Norm joined the Auburn Fire Department in 1992 and is very active in I.A.F.F. Local 1352. As a fire fighter, Norm brings unique experiences to the practice of law.

When not at work, Norm enjoys Hockey, Adventure Racing, Triathlons, and Running.
