Ryan, a Seattle native, earned an undergraduate degree from Seattle
University in Performing Arts. After small roles in low-budget independent
films, he opted to apply his experience on a different stage. He
attended University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento,
California and graduated with a Trial Concentration. While in Law
School he was a national mock trial finalist and was invited to
join the Order of the Barristers, a national organization of trial
attorneys.
|
Following law school, Ryan worked at a small personal injury
law firm in Sacramento and learned the value of representing the individual
against a significantly more powerful opponent. Whie there, he successfully
argued cases before the California Court of Appeals and Supreme Court
as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and wrote a brief for the
United States Supreme Court.
Missing the beautiful environment and culture of the Northwest,
Ryan returned to his native Seattle to get married and sought to continue
working for the individual. In addition to his continued Personal Injury
practice he also works in criminal defense, where instead of insurance
companies, he has the opportunity to defend against the police and the
government. Each of these avenues allow him to be where he is truly the
most comfortable: the courtroom.
| When he is not hard at work in the
courtroom, you can find Ryan making the most of all that the Northwest
has to offer. In addition to spending every available free moment
playing soccer, rock climbing, hiking or running on any number of
trails that our fair city has to offer, he spends his weekends as
a ski instructor during the winter. On weekends in the fall, he can
always be found at Husky Stadium or Qwest Field with his father cheering
on his beloved Seahawks and Huskies. |
