Terra Clendinin strives to give a potent voice to the criminally accused. She treats clients the way that she would like to be treated if she were in their position. Terra believes that it is important for clients to always know the potential risks, costs, and benefits of every choice along the way so that they can make informed decisions about what is best for them.
Terra earned her B.A. at the University of Washington, graduating cum laude with a major in Law, Societies, and Justice. She then went on to the University of Washington School of Law where she earned her law degree. During law school Terra enhanced her legal training by embarking on an externship for the Honorable Ronald Cox at the Division I Court of Appeals. She also worked in the Civil Division of the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office as a Rule 9 intern where she made frequent courtroom appearances.
Terra's work at the Court of Appeals and Prosecutor's Office allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of prosecutorial procedure and strategies.
After law school, Terra worked as a public defender at the Department of Assigned Counsel for the City of Tacoma. Terra's training and experience on both sides of the judicial aisle makes her a skillful and zealous advocate for each client's rights.
